Old School Friends Re-Union

I am all set off to write a review on my recently held old school friends re-union which we have planned with a real passionate heart but have really gone 'Phusssss' like a soda bubble at the end when we finally met because of last moment ditchers ;) . So here came another nostalgic moment of my life today in this burning afternoon of May. Just came back after meeting with my old school friends. The list of frnds was long who all had voted to come. But by the time it was finalized only few could actually made it including myself. Besides me there was Saurabh Gupta, Mohit Johri, Shivani Gogia who made it to the venue. Niti got sick and she had to cancle at the last moment. Gunjan never confirmed. Shubhra had some relatives visiting her place. And the never ending excuses from non-makers goes on. Our meeting point was Connaught Place. I reached their by Metro and Saurabh picked me up at 'D' block. Shivani was already sitting with him in the car. They were already enjoying each other's company until i popped on the backseat of the car. She was looking as stunning as ever, as she used to look in school even after all these long years she haven't changed much but put on a slight weight. I said 'Hi' to her. Saurabh and I have already met before in a few previous re-unions. We all shaked hands and then joke cracking session started followed by a series of leg pulling sessions that Shivani had to bear. She was in regular contact with Mohit on sms so that we can catch him as well. At last 'Raja Babu' arrived at Odean Cinema in his sedan wearing shades. He waved at me, after that we planned to move to QBA, a nice retro bar joint. There we sat in AC leaving that skin roasting temperature outside. We ordered 'Chilli Paneer', 'Paneer Tikka', 'Fresh Lime Sodas' and 'Chilled Beer'.  Until the order got served, the series of talks started that really made me nostalgic about my good old school days. We talked about most of our old school buddies, crushes that we use to have in school, affairs, FLAME games that we use to play, how we use to get scolded by teachers and the nicks of most of our favourite teachers and shared the glorious achievements and mischefs we did in life with each other. The atmosphere was really overwhelming and the smell of historical thoughts & pranks was everywhere at that moment. Overall it was really an enjoyable session. We spent around 3.5 hours together and then parted for our own places after hugging and greeting each other. Yes, i can say it was one of the memorable days of my life. I hope many more days like this will come in future. Hoping for a next reunion soon. Guys, confirm the venue for next meetup asap. This time do confirm positively. No last moment ditchers required.
